DISP 1406 is a dispersant with acidic groups specifically designed for dispersion of inorganic pigments in water-borne, solvent-borne, and UV curable systems. This additive effectively decreases viscosity and improves pigment loading capacity.

Application System and Dosage

DISP 1406 is suitable for both water-borne and solvent-borne systems. It is recommended to introduce the additive before the dispersion stage during manufacture with:

  • 2% to 4% dosage upon TiO₂
  • 1% to 5% dosage upon other inorganic pigments
