ASTRA LA 301 is a solution of polyether modified polysiloxane. It has excellent compatibility with
most paint resins and has no negative influence on recoatability. It provides excellent leveling and
low foam stabilization in both solvent-borne and water-borne systems. Also the additive could act
as an excellent defoamer.

ASTRA LA 301 is suitable for solvent-borne, water-borne and UV curable coating systems.

Usually, it is possible to introduce the additive at a random stage during the manufacture with 0.1% to
1% dosage upon total formulation.
